My first London agency
Upon arriving in London in 2014, digital design agency Codegent took me on as a digital intern to help brand and design a unique e-commerce website. Based in London’s tech hub in Old Street, Codegent aims to improve digital experiences with brands such as British Airways to Tepilo.
Establishing a Brand
Ex-TV presenter for the BBC Selina Scott required a website to sell her new socks, made from ethically-sourced mohair and yak wool. We worked alongside Selina and her team to establish a brand for her sock business, and an e-commerce website to accompany.
Carousel Prominence
During the three month project I created a full branding kit for the business; the logo mark for which was then embroidered onto all the socks produced. The logo consisted of a clear lock-up between a goat head, the double ’S’ and a heart shape, bringing together all these elements into a beautiful mark which could be applied through multiple channels.
Responsive Design
A photoshoot in the Yorkshire moors secured a high quality image library for the socks, with myself taking photos and another photographer there to capture the shots.
Working alongside my mentor and senior designer Jen, we applied the newly formed brand to a beautiful, responsive website design which showcased the rural shots of the socks alongside a secure and easy-to-use e-commerce platform.
My full role was to create branding, photography, social media assets, responsive emails and user interface designs.
